Not only are colleges looking at students' "world-saving" activities, but they should also be interested in the 2.0 talents of young people today. I can't think of (m)any college majors that involve house building in Rwanda, but MANY majors (and jobs, for that matter) would be interested in your skills as a blogger who knows how to use the tools of the modern internet.
